From a very young age, I knew that ‘Interior Design’ was my destiny. As a young child I would arrange my bedroom furniture (space planning) or choose new furniture for the family room (interior design). Prior to becoming a registered interior designer, I had a very successful career selling real estate in Ottawa and Toronto, where it became quite apparent to me that not everyone saw a space the same way that I did.

I would see the potential in a space where my clients would only see the problems. I would suggest changes that aligned perfectly with their requirements. Using this knowledge in turn, led to award winning home sales production.

 After a very successful real estate career, I decided to go back to interior design school to hone my skills, attending the prestigious International Academy of Design and Technology and learning from the best instructors in the business.

While in design school, my former real estate broker hired me to transform a former TD bank location into a new real estate office. Upon graduating, I opened E.L.P. Designs and Space Planning and we received our first major residential design renovation project of a luxury waterfront condominium.

Today E.L.P. Designs and Space Planning is a five star rated full service residential and commercial Interior Design-Build and Space Planning firm serving the entire Greater Toronto Area (GTA) .
